Served as a Senior Financial Officer at the Washington, D.C. headquarters of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group.
Worked in the Treasury Department, specializing in Quantitative Analysis (Data Science, Financial Engineering) and Treasury Client Services (Strategic Treasury Division).

Professional Experience
Previously served as a judge for approximately 15 years, handling primarily civil cases at Tokyo District Court, Matsuyama District Court, and Naha District/Family Court Ishigaki Branch.

While serving as a judge, he worked in the Secretariat of the Supreme Court of Japan, handling international liaison matters. Spent a year conducting overseas research at the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Texas, USA. In addition, he was seconded to the Ministry of Justice and spent two years in the Kingdom of Cambodia as a long-term expert. There, he contributed to a JICA project focused on improving civil education at judicial training institutions for judges and prosecutors.
